Metro Mini Storage is a family business started in Bessemer, Alabama in 1974 by Eddie Lumpkin. The business is still run by Eddie and his family, and even though it has grown to be the largest self storage company in Alabama, it is still run with the same family values and commitment. Today we have ten locations in the Birmingham metro area with over 5,000 storage units.
As a locally owned and operated company, we believe there’s nothing more important than treating people well. We know that satisfied customers are our best way to reach more people in the future. Our growth has always come from taking care of people better than anyone else, and we plan to keep doing exactly that.
